Don't really know what to say. I mean, it's true we've got some expensive bags (£159 is the most expensive) but we've also got a lot of cheaper bags (£29 is the least expensive). We're certainly not aiming at the £5-a-bag thing because we can't how that can possibly be fair trade. How can the retailer, wholesaler do their thing and still manage to give the bag maker a fair wage? I can't see it. Also, we're trying to sell bags that are something a bit special, and if you look at other bag sellers they're selling their bags at more like to £150 - £400 mark. We're actually pretty good value, *and* we give back to everyone on the chain from us back to bag to the bag designer and artisan. Hmm. Don’t really know what to say. I don't know how you are managing, but certainly if I am thinking it, there's a proportion of the public who think the same.
